The idea for fumi was born in summer 2020 on the way to the seaside. As always, Sandra and Luisa had the horses with them and were full of anticipation for lots of beach rides!

The two of them are pretty horse-crazy, got to know each other through eventing and are always on the lookout for the next equestrian adventure. Their horses have always had special feeding requirements due to their breed and health. During their trip to the Netherlands, they wondered why feeding is still such a complex and almost impenetrable topic. This gave rise to the idea of making the scientific principles of horse feeding applicable to every horse owner – fumi was born!

The girls quickly realized that it would be impossible without Mazze and Marcel. From the very beginning, the two of them were fully behind the idea and spent several months realizing the requirements of their horsewomen in the app. A simple needs analysis app eventually became fumi as it is today.

Even though Luisa and Marcel have left the fumi team to focus on other projects, we are all united by our love of horses and innovation. We are constantly working to make fumi better so that we can all feed our horses better.
